STUDIOCANAL ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF ZELDA CAMILLERI AS GLOBAL HEAD OF TV & SVOD SALES

STUDIOCANAL, CANAL+’s in-house studio, one of Europe’s leading film and series studios with worldwide production and distribution capabilities, announces the appointment of Zelda Camilleri as Global Head of TV & SVOD Sales.

With her extensive expertise and deep knowledge of the TV and SVOD rights market in France, Zelda Camilleri will now oversee TV and SVOD sales across STUDIOCANAL’s key territories, including in particular the United Kingdom, Germany, Benelux, and Australia, while continuing to manage TV & SVOD sales in France.

Zelda Camilleri joined STUDIOCANAL in 2016 and has led TV and SVOD sales for France for the past five years. As such, she has enabled STUDIOCANAL to establish strong partnerships with leading broadcasters and streaming platforms, ensuring optimal exposure for STUDIOCANAL’s productions.

In this new cross-functional role, Zelda will support the company’s growth strategy across multiple territories and enhance the commercialisation of its film and television productions worldwide.

She will continue to report to Anne Chérel, Chief Commercial Officer at STUDIOCANAL, who welcomed the appointment: “With STUDIOCANAL’s expansion in film and TV production, and the strong potential of our prestigious library titles, it is essential to structure our TV/SVOD sales globally and cross-functionally. Zelda’s experience and strategic vision will be key assets in driving our growth in these key markets. I am delighted about this new role for Zelda, which recognizes her commitment and expertise within the group.

Zelda Camilleri holds a master’s degree in film law from Lyon 3 University. She began her career at Pathé as an international lawyer, before joining STUDIOCANAL 9 years ago as TV & SVOD France sales manager.
