SPORT+: A NEW FREE DIGITAL PLATFORM DEDICATED TO SPORT

On October 9th, in mainland France, CANAL+ is launching SPORT+, a new free digital platform dedicated to sport, open to everyone -- subscribers and non-subscribers alike -- directly on the CANAL+ App.

With SPORT+, CANAL+ is entering the free sports market with a simple ambition: to give all sports fans a new habit for following sports news. Designed for all mobile screens, SPORT+ is currently the only platform in the sector to offer this much exclusive footage and content around the biggest sporting competitions, completely free of charge.

For nine major competitions for which CANAL+ holds the broadcasting rights (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, Arkema Première Ligue, Formula 1®, MotoGP™, TOP 14, PRO D2 and Premier League), SPORT+ will offer exclusive footage, highlights, vertical short videos, a selection of free matches, and CANAL+'s signature sports shows every day.

With its short formats designed as a gateway to CANAL+ content, its Multi-Live SPORT+ feature (several matches broadcast live simultaneously), and its "anti-spoiler" mode, SPORT+ offers a brand-new experience.

The first major event to follow on SPORT+ will be the Singapore Formula 1® Grand Prix on Sunday, October 11th.
