CANAL+ PROLONGS ITS EXCLUSIVE BROADCASTING RIGHTS OF THE NTT INDYCAR SERIES
CANAL+ is proud to announce the expansion for several years of its broadcasting rights of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The 2025 championship will debut on March 2, on the urban circuit of St. Petersburg in Florida. The race will be available live on CANAL+SPORT at 6 p.m.
The North American open-wheel auto racing is ultra-spectacular and pits some of the best drivers in the world against each other on 17 trials on schedule, from March to August. It is contested on three types of circuits: short ovals, road courses, and street courses. The flagship event of the 2025 championship will be the 109th edition of the Indianapolis 500. Racing for the Chip Ganassi team, Álex Palou is the reigning champion, while Penske team’s racer Josef Newgarden is the last winner of the Indianapolis 500.
With the expansion of its Indycar broadcasting rights, CANAL+ strengthens once more its status as an essential broadcaster of major motor sports with, among other, the Formula 1® World Championship until 2029, the MotoGP™ World Championship until 2029, and the WRC World Rally Championship until 2030.
CANAL+ broadcasting rights of the NTT Indycar Series cover France, Switzerland, sub-Saharan Africa, Vietnam and Myanmar.
