CANAL+ LAUNCHES ITS STREAMING SERVICE IN HUNGARY

CANAL+ officially launches in Hungary, replacing the Direct One satellite and online TV brand with a premium, all-in-one service. From December 1, Hungarian subscribers can enjoy exclusive content, movies, original series, live TV channels, and sports in a single application.

“Our goal is to deliver a seamless streaming experience by combining premium, diverse content with continuous innovation.”, said Szilvia Kiss, Managing Director of CANAL+ Hungary.

Subscribers can choose from two packages featuring fully dubbed films and series, sports, documentaries, kids’ content, and exclusive channels like CANAL+ Action – which is a new television channel on the market – offering thrillers, crime dramas, and CANAL+ series. Highlights include hit titles such as Ballerina, Civil War, and CANAL+ Original Creation like The Sentinels and Crossing Lines, alongside with premium libraries including content from STUDIOCANAL, FilmBox, National Geographic, BBC Earth, History, Epic Drama, and Nickelodeon.

The CANAL+ app is available on all screens, including Smart TVs, mobile devices, and desktops, with features like replay and restart for ultimate flexibility.

CANAL+ partners first with 4iG Group making the CANAL+ streaming service – with an app developed specifically for partners – and the new CANAL+ Action linear TV channel available to One Magyarország Zrt. customers.
