David Mignot

David Mignot has been CEO of CANAL+ Africa and CEO of MultiChoice since September 2025, and Member of the Management Board of CANAL+ since April 2026.

He joined CANAL+ in 2011 to roll out the Africa strategic plan. In June 2013, he was appointed CEO AFRICA of the CANAL+ Group. Under his leadership, the Africa activity has seen its subscriber base grow from 500.000 to 9 million subscribers , the successful launch of FTTH offers in a dozen countries and the recent acquisition of the Multichoice Group.

David Mignot began his career in 1996 in consulting, being involved in the launches of pay-TV and Telecom operators in several countries. In 1999, he co-founded a pay-TV operator in the Indian Ocean, which he managed for nearly ten years. He then joined OUTREMER TELECOM GROUP as Managing Director.

David Mignot is a graduate engineer from Telecom Paris and holds a postgraduate diploma in economy from Paris Dauphine University – PSL. His family is bicultural, French and Mauritian.
