LEADING CONTRIBUTOR

The leading contributor to sport in France, CANAL+ continues to strengthen its presence in the field, in particular by securing the broadcasting rights for major competitions until the end of the decade (including the Champions League, Premier League, TOP 14, Formula 1TM and MotoGPTM).

As the leading artistic and financial partner of French cinema, CANAL+ provides the richest cinema offering in its history, by broadcasting the biggest French and American films thanks to partnerships with the biggest majors (Warner Bros, Universal Studios, Sony, Disney, Paramount, Fox), just 6 months after their cinema release.

CANAL+ France also stands out for the quality of its original fiction, critically acclaimed and popular with subscribers under the registered “Création Originale” label: Le Bureau des Légendes, B.R.I., La Flamme, Validé, Marie-Antoinette, D’Argent et de Sang…

CANAL+ also aggregates the best content on the market and so allows its subscribers to enjoy global streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+, DAZN, Max) and the top premium channels (beIN.).

This global approach offers subscribers a wide choice of quality content, thus strengthening CANAL+ France's position as a leader in the entertainment industry.

AGGREGATION AND DISTRIBUTION

In addition to its production activity, CANAL+ Group is a leader in the aggregation and paid distribution of content, apps and premium channels in France.

CANAL+ Group has built, from an offer made up of the best in cinema, sport, series, documentaries and kids programmes, a gateway to the content of the largest apps and channels in the world. Through myCANAL, it aggregates the main third-party thematic channels and global content platforms such as beIN SPORTS, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+, DAZN and Max. This model, which combines the strength of the work of creator with that of aggregator, is totally unique.

CANAL+ Group's offers are marketed in France, with or without commitment, integrating CANAL+ channels, thematic channels produced by the Group, and the best channels and streaming services on the market. Depending on their interests, subscribers can build their offers around CANAL+, particularly by adding more sport or more films and series.
CANAL+ distributes its offers as part of specific subscriptions on satellite, ADSL, TNT, cable, fibre, mobile and Internet. These offers are marketed directly by the Group and through a physical distribution network made up of more than 3,000 sales outlets of sale via commercial partners. In addition, CANAL+ sells its offers through its own online store and via Internet access providers, who integrate them into their own pay television offers. It therefore has distribution agreements with Free, Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom.
In January 2024, Free launched its new Freebox Ultra, which includes "CANAL+ la chaîne en live" at no extra cost. This new offer is unique, and its permanent integration into an operator's box is a first in the history of the CANAL+ Group.
